How does the 60-day free trial work?

Start with full access to all plan features for 60 days. Upload photos, set up your store, and even start selling. Any earnings during the trial are yours to keep! 60 days gives you more than enough time to configure your store and get your feet wet.

How much do photographers earn per sale?

You set your own prices. On the Hobby plan you keep 100% of revenue; higher tiers add advanced selling and collaboration features. Most photographers price individual photos between $5–15. Stripe handles payments with weekly automatic payouts to your bank account in 40+ countries.

What payment methods are supported?

You will use Stripe for all payment processing. Buyers can pay with all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods. You receive payouts weekly via bank transfer or Stripe Express.

Is there a limit on photo storage?

There is no hard cap—you can grow your library as needed. Each plan includes monthly photo credits: Hobby 30,000, Professional 60,000, and Studio 120,000. After your included credits, additional photos are billed at $0.0005/photo/month on Hobby, $0.0004/photo/month on Professional, and $0.0003/photo/month on Studio.

How does the facial recognition work?

On Studio plans and when enabled, our system scans every photo you upload and creates face embeddings - mathematical representations of facial features. When a buyer uploads their selfie or reference photo, we compare it against all face embeddings in your gallery to find matches. The entire process takes seconds, even with thousands of photos. For security the facial mappings and images are stored separately. Buyer's selfie photo is NEVER stored on our servers.

What is BIB detection and how accurate is it?

BIB detection uses computer vision to automatically read race bib numbers from your photos. This allows runners to search by their bib number and instantly find all photos where they appear, even if their face isn't clearly visible. Available on Studio plans.

Can I use my own domain and remove Pixelcart branding?

Absolutely! With the Pro and Studio plans only you can connect your own domain (e.g., photos.yourcompany.com). Your clients will see your brand, not ours, including email sending from your domain. Hobby plans include choice-of-name.pixelcart.io

How do galleries and sub-galleries work?

You get unlimited galleries and sub-galleries on all plans. Organize photos by event, date, race category, or any structure you prefer. Create nested hierarchies like 'Berlin Marathon 2025 > 10K > Start Line' for easy navigation.

Can I sell both individual photos and collections?

Yes! On Pro and Studio plans you can sell individual photos, curated collections, or entire gallery bundles. Set different prices for each, create packages (e.g., 'All Your Race Photos' deals), and maximize your average order value with flexible pricing options.

How do I control who can access my photos?

Pro and Studio plans offer multiple access control options: password-protect galleries, create membership groups, require user accounts to view, or set up event whitelists for exclusive access. Upload a CSV file with email/code combination (which we encrypt immediately). Perfect for private events, corporate clients, or VIP packages. Then generate a QR-code to share the gallery!
